Xenon Gas

Xenon is a colorless, tasteless, odorless, nonflammable, inert gas existing in atmosphere at 0.06ppmvol. it is highly explosive gas that has got a boiling point of -108.1 degree Celsius. The gas is majorly available in earth’s atmosphere along with other minerals and components. It can be extracted through cryogenic distillationair separation plants by using fractional distillation techniques. During the process, it generates Liquid oxygen containing Xenon and Krypton. Then Xenon gas and Krypton are generated further through distillation and silica gel. Further Xenon is generated through distillation making it an expensive gas.
