WS-2 White Sapphire Stone

A scintillating and awesome gem sapphire this one. It weights 1.81 ct., top white, colorless, comparable to a F color diamond (fine white!), excellent, round, diamond cut, measures 7.6 in diameter x 4.4mm deep, flawless gem, IF-VVS type2 from the gem fields of Nivitigala, Sri Lanka. It is very difficult to get a 7.6mm round, diamond cut, and approaching 2 ct. in size, because a lot of rough is wasted for this particular kind of cut. This one has all the requisite to mime perfectly a diamond of 1 34 carats at a fraction of the cost.
