Wrap Reel – Digital Model instrument is used for preparation of lea of the yarn, either in yards or in meters for lea strength tester. Automated wrap reel is a motorized unit for winding desired length of the yarn required for evaluation of count, is denier or Tex i.e. Weight per unit length (linear density) is a measure of a continuous filament or yarn and Tex (where one denier equals 19th of a tex).
The top unit including wrap reel is mounted over a metallic base plate. One of the arms of the wheel can be locked to facilitate the removal of the leas from the wheel. It has a specially designed digital control panel with revolution setting option. The Bobbin stand is equipped with a yarn-tensioning device to facilitate wrapping the yarn on the wheel. The standard wrap reel is suitable for making either Yardage or Metric leas. The unit is equipped with spring loaded swift which folds for easy removal of lea from reel.
