With wood fired boilers, the pollution caused is high and also requires constant storing, cutting and burning of wood – i.e. additional labor requirements and maintenance. Secondly, the cost of LPG is rapidly increasing and there seems no indication of it even remaining stable. So it is going to be even more expensive to heat water tomorrow than it is today and hence the cost of providing hot water to inmates is going to increase day after day.
