This dehumidifier can be installed in new construction or existing homes. At about 2 feet square, it doesn't require much space, whether sitting on the floor or suspended from joists (hanging brackets are optional). Not only is the WHD-130A effective at removing excess humidity, it operates quietly, thanks to cabinet lining of 1" thick high density insulation. Also, the compressor and fan have rubber isolator mounts, and the rubber feet and hanging bracket rubber isolators prevent vibration as well.
