This increases the lifeline of the crane wheels by 2-3 times at no maintenance cost.

Graphite lubricant just reduces friction where two metal surfaces rub together. If you lubricate wheel flanges, there is no need to install such a hard wheel flange. This is a very inexpensive way to solve a huge problem that most companies have. Replacing wheel assemblies due to flange wear is the critical maintenance problem for overhead cranes/trolleys in a steel mill and foundry. It is very expensive compare to dry lubrication system. The lubricant will also help greatly with track that is out of alignment.

Lubrication Stick :
The Lubrication Stick is an advanced dry, solid lubricant designed to lubricate. Lubrication Sticks are particularly effective and suited for flanged wheel applications where wear can result in expensive outage or dangerous failure. Lubrication sticks can reduce the steel-on-steel coefficient of friction from 0.60~ to less than 0.10~.

Unlike liquids or grease, our lubricant stays where you put it. It won’t run or drip and will not migrate to the wheel tread or top of the rail. When it comes time to refill, there’s nothing to pump or spill. Just open the system cap, and drop in a stick. On average, the stick will last a month or longer, depending on the crane’s operating time.
