Water free from mineral is called Demineralised water. Water contains many mineral salt in dissolved from which is called dissolved solids. To remove salts from water.it is treated with Cation & Anion resin coloum. The raw water is passed through Cation resin column. H+ from which converts all ionised salts to the equivalent acid, now the acidic water is passed through anion resin column (OH From) which absorbs acids and water available in demineralised water. When the resins are exhausted the Cation resin coloum is regenerated with HCL and Anion resin coloum is regenerated with NaOH solution, After regenerated now the plant will be in a position to give D.M. Water up to next regenerated.

Two Bed Upflow Deioniser:

  • Cation-Anion coloumns are available in DM-55, DM-80, DM-100, DM-150 in standard models.

Salient Features:

  • Simple to install
  • Compact
  • Easy to operate
  • On line conductivity teater to monitor treated water
  • Quality in microsiemens/cm

Scope of Supply:

  • Two : Pressure vessels of rubberlined mild steel construction and corrosion resistant material fittings.
  • One: Initial fittings charge of Cation & Anion resin.
  • Two: Acid and coustic dilution tank
  • One: Set of rubberlined mild Steel pipe work complete with ejector for acid/soda and manually operated control valves.
  • One : On Line conductivity meter with cell.
  • One: Operation Manual.

Important:

  • Quality of treated water depends on raw water Quality.
  • Raw water should be Clean, Colour Less and Free from Organic Matters and Oils.
  • Treated water is not Pyrogen free but it Contains to ISI Standard.
  • Capacity per Regeneration depends on ionic load present in raw water.

Applications:

  • Demineralised water is suitable for Distilled water.
  • Beverages, Fertilizer, Pharmaceuticals, Battery water, Chemical, Induction Furnace, Steel Plant, Food Precessing, Electro Plating, Electronics, Hospitals, Laboratories, Schools, Colleges.
