At that point, the active column in the VPSA Oxygen Generator is fully pressured. The column stops functioning when this pressure is released, and it regenerates throughout the depressurization. Each generator is made up of two columns, one of which is active while the other is inert. This ensures a constant supply of oxygen. They trade places after each cycle of columns.

The other vessel is renewing as a result of a decrease in pressure while pressure is growing in the first. This procedure ensures a constant flow.
