• The cradle is fixed below the mould (or bench) in inverted position. Eight to ten cradles, depending on the type of sleeper being casted ( BG or turnout), are fixed at predefined places and all the vibrators are controlled by just one operator, thereby reducing effort as well as workers on the casting floor
