Shock & Vibration Enviroment Recorder (Saver) It is a self powered solid state Digital Recorder for measuring shock, vibration, drop height, temperature and humidity and other variables. Recorded data is stored in non - volatile digital memory for periods of weeks or months. It is programmed via a Windows based Software that is included in the package price. The unit is set up via software and all logged data is also downloaded to the PC after the end of the journey. Container Compression Test Systems Lansmont compression testers are used to test individual shipping containers. Loading platens with upto 1.22 meter daylight and upto 20 ton load are offered in different models. Controls are Touch Test computer based. Load is applied at a constant deflection rate in accordance with International specifications. Alternatively, load can be applied and reduced as per user defined profile or load can be maintained indefinitely to simulate warehouse loading conditions. A fourth mode is to load to a given compression force and then release. Optional software for monitoring temperature and humidity is also offered. Data output is via the bundled laser printer or by file transfer. Precision Drop Tester These are for achieving precise drop orientations over controlled drop heights without any restrictions to package weight and size meaning that very small to quite large items can be most easily handled. Optional instrumentation and software options are available to measure and record the g forces encountered by the test component during the fall and at the instant of the drop inside the package. Shock Test Systems These microprocessor controlled machines find wide application in the field of product fragility assessment and cushion characteristics of shock attenuation materials. Damage boundary analyses are performed on these machines. Applications Lansmont have shown that knowing exactly what bumps, shakes, drops, shocks and other abuses products and packages suffer during handling, usage and transportation after leaving the assembly line of the factory can give valuable information needed to maintain consistent high standards and minimize damages. Earlier one had to theoretise or do trial and error testing, but now there is a choice with sophisticated and user friendly test equipment from Lansmont. Key Attributes Vibration test systems with different specimen weight capacities and frequency ranges. All models come with facilities of resonance search, sine sweep, dwell tests, random vibration and sequenced profiles employing the latest TOUCH TEST controls. Servo hydraulic shaker system with 0.1 to 200 Hz. range to test as per the field transportation environment in the lab. Output of the SAVER can be fed directly into the Lansmont Vibration test system to simulate the actual vibration right in the laboratory. Model 1800 - Includes 64 mm stroke servo actuator assembly with servo valve, DCDT displacement transducer, 38 lpm hydraulic power supply with motor pump. Maximum table size is 152 cm square. Maximum specimen weight is 680 kg. A high strength vibration table designed for maximum stiffness, lightweight and uniform acceleration over the table’s surface, having threaded inserts in grid pattern. Seismic base to isolate high vibrational forces from the floor, eliminate the need for a large reinforced foundation and permit operation on a commercial concrete ground floor. Consists of a solid mass supported on isolators with damping cylinders. Vibration Controls– configured for 2 feedback channels, (1 control channel and 1 specimen response channel) including signal conditioners, accelerometers and cables. Benchtop system with touch-screen. |
