These Chillers have been designed to adopt variable cooling load with variable compressors like scroll, screw and reciprocating etc. and intelligent controller to help in precise cooling.
A more Efficient Chiller is a motor step along the path of reduce energy consumption. The variable speed chiller with the variable frequency drive. Processor have to select chiller based on their maximum cooling capacity requirements and while this approach assures plenty of chiller capacity. it was not always very energy efficient. That is because typical chillers are equipped with fined speed / fined motor compressor which ran in full load capacity at low production time. In this case we can use variable speed compressor or VFD which operates effecting between 10% to 100% of its rated capacity. This means a 10-ton chiller can operate very efficiently as a 1-tonchiller. it give energy saving between 30%  to 50% of initial investments.
