We go back to the year 1960, when Late Prof.KC Kandhari (B.Sc., MBBS, DTM, MRCP, FAMS, FRCP) established and headed the 1st Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy at All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), which carried out formal post graduate teaching at New Delhi.
