VAE Emulsions

Vinyl Acetate Ethelene Emulsions are a general purpose copolymer water based emulsion of vinyl acetate with low ethylene content having been developed as a powerful adhesive base, which offers the following special characteristics :excellent heat resistant, Initial Adhesive Strength High Wet Tack, Good Creep Resistance, Water Resistance, Alkali Resistance, fastest setting speed, excellent hold out, excellent flexibility, excellent ageing properties, with low VOC, low odor, superior shielding power and formaldehyde free properties.

VAE Emulsions can bond a greater variety of surface than conventional PVA emulsions, These emulsions are particularly effective in bonding polyvinyl chloride films. The VAE emulsion effectively bonds such widely variety substrate as paper, wood, cotton cloth, hardboard, urethane foam, EVA Foams and certain types of coated paperboard. VAE Emulsion also effectively used for civil and construction works to improve the adhesive power and water resistance of mortar and act as plasticers.

VAE Emulsions may be also used as an adhesive for following uses.

For Furniture Decoration pasting PVC foil or strap with decorative Veneer, for Parquet making pasting decorative veneer with wooden base, for pasting decorative veneer with ABS in automobile industry, for packaging and paper converting industry for making paper bags and wraps, for making paint and coatings exterior and interior, for water proofing on concrete, for making turf and carpet backing/ laminating two layers, for fabric to foam lamination, for laminating film of PVC,

BOPP with paper .

Properties:

It can be used in the PVC/BOPP Films bonding and lamination, EVA Foam with fabric lamination, Paper Bonding, Floor, Wall and Ceiling Adhesive. In the general formulation it can also be combined

with Plasticizers, Solvents, Thickening Agents, Extenders etc. The popular uses are PVC, Plastic or Metal (Under Pressure) Film Bonding, Plastic Material, Cellular Materials and Ceramic Tiles to absorbent substrates bonding, Polymers Cement Paste for waterproof, laticrete.

VAE Emulsions have no odour and other changes in properties. The product is with low VOC without use of solvents, which may be harmful for environment and human breathing.

Applications:

Recommended use- book binding, paper and packaging. Useful in furniture, printing adhesive,Latex paint, water proof concrete and elastic cement, fabric and non-woven.
