Stainless Steel UNS S32205 Butt Weld Pipe Fittings offer good oxidation resistance at even the highest of temperatures. At high temperatures, above 2000 Degree F, Stainless Steel UNS S32205 Butt Weld Fittings will become increasingly ferritic, becoming fully ferritic at temperatures just below the melting point. Stainless Steel UNS S31803 Butt Weld Pipe Fittings typically have 50 – 60% austenite that has formed in a ferritic matrix. When hot forming is required in Stainless Steel UNS S31803 Butt Weld Fittings, the work piece should be heated uniformly and worked in the range of 1750 Degree F – 2250 Degree F.
