Following experiments can be performed with this unit:-
1) To verify the relation simple pendulum.
2) To determination the radius of gyration ‘k’ of a given compound pendulum & to verify the relation of compound pendulum.
3) To determine the radius of gyration of a given bar by using Bi-Filer Suspension.
4) To study the Torsional Vibrations of Single Rotor System.
5) To study the Free Vibrations of Two Rotor System and to determine the Natural Frequency of Vibration Theoretically & Experimentally.
6) To study the Damped Torsional Oscillation & to determine the Damping Coefficient Ct.
7) To verify the Dunker Ley’s rule Viz.
8) To study the longitudinal vibration of helical spring and to determine the frequency and time period of oscillation theoretically and actually by experiment.
9) To study the undamped free vibration of equivalent Spring Mass System.
10) To study the forced vibration of equivalent Spring Mass System.
11) To study the forced vibration of the beam for different Damping.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION: -
RPM Measurement: Digital RPM Indicator with Proximity sensor.
The set-up also consists of exciter unit with FHP Motor and speed controller, ordinary strip chart recorder and damper with arrangement for changing damping.
An electronic stop clock is provided to measure the time period.
The whole Set-up is well designed and arranged in a good quality painted Structure.
