The Company also manufactures BIO DIESEL (B100) meeting IS 15607:2005 specifications. Bio Diesel also known as Methyl Ester is a clean burning and renewable fuel that is the most suited alternative to fossil fuels. The physical & chemical properties of Diesel & Bio Diesel are very similar & hence it can be mixed and used as a blend (B5 to B20) with no engine modifications or as B100 with slight engine modifications.

Numerous studies have shown that Bio Diesel is the preferred fuel over Diesel; some of the critical differences are listed below:

1. Better ignition & combustion characteristics due to higher Cetane Index.
2. Reduction in exhaust emissions (Particulate Matter or PM, un burned hydrocarbon & carbon monoxide) due to the presence of naturally occurring oxygen that enables the fuel to burn completely.
3. Bio diesel is naturally free of Sulphur & so produces no Sulphur di Oxide, considered to be one of the main causes of Acid Rain.
4. Reduces Carbon Foot Print since it is completely made from Renewable resources.
