This recycling method provides a closed-loop rinse system for recovering paint drag-out. The permeate can also be diverted to drain to control the conductivity of the paint. Impurities that might come due to pre-treatment like salt, solubilizers etc. Can also be removed by ultrafiltration. Depending on the molecular weight cut off (mwco) of the membrane used, macromolecules may be purified, separated, or concentrated in either fraction.
