Twin Cyclone

OUR Cyclone Collectors are designed to achieve high dust collection efficiencies at low pressure drops. We can satisfy the most stringent air pollution control laws and/or product recovery requirements.
Our Cyclones incorporate a volute or tangential inlet. Collection efficiency depends on many factors such as operating pressure drop, cyclone barrel diameter, number of gas turns, gas density, gas viscosity, gas inlet/outlet velocities, dust particle density, inlet dust loadings, dust particle size analysis, saltation velocity, and overall cyclone dimensions.
For efficient system design and operation it is also necessary to consider dust characteristics such as stickiness, abrasiveness, friability, explosiveness, etc. as well as airflow fluctuations, corrosion problems, dew point and structural design of the equipment.
Our engineers will offer the most suitable configuration depending on your efficiency requirements and space limitations.
OUR Cyclones are available in carbon steel, stainless steel or high alloy construction. Refractory and/or ceramic lined units are also available for abrasive/high temperature applications.
Special arrangements can be supplied to meet your plant layouts. Our common dust hoppers and outlet plenums are custom designed to suit each application.
