The turnout rug is designed to keep the horse clean and dry when out in the field, and also warm during the winter. Turnout rugs have a waterproof and breathable outer material and are available in different thicknesses/weights of filling measured in grams that offer varying degrees of warmth to the horse.

Turnout rugs classified into Lightweight summer turnout rugs (may have no filling, whilst lightweight winter turnout rugs usually have up to 150 grams of filling), medium weight turnout rugs (may have 150 grams to 300 grams of filling) and heavy weight turnout rugs (have more than 300 grams of filling).

Turnout Rug are made on 600D, 1000D and 1200D waterproof and breathable fabrics with twin adjustable buckles front closure at chest, shoulder gussets to give easy movement to horse while the rug is on, Cross surcingle at belly help in keeping the rug in place, easy adjustable leg straps allows comfort movement of horse and are easy to remove/replace.
