The possession of certification is a must for all companies who are engaged in manufacturing and supplying of automotive parts. All supporting functions for manufacturing the automotive-related parts or on-site distribution centers form the part of the site audit. Though they support the site, the stand-alone TS-16949:2009 certification is cannot be obtained by them.
