EAGLE ETSB Series Closed Orthotropic-Rib are designed for extended long life. The orthotropic beams are arc welded in a continuous seam – to provide exceptional strength and torsional rigidity. Higher-Strength modules results in increase CLC Concentrated Load Capacity of single axel weight from 18t to 25t and tandem axle weight from 28t to 40t. The Low Profile design requires less approach space and lower incline angle for approach ramps.

In most competitive designs, intermittent welds are located in high stress areas. The constant bending under heavy loads and the small amount of weld material can cause the welds to crack, resulting in premature deck failure. Using continuous welds located away from high-stress areas eliminates one of the most common causes of truck failures. EAGLE's orthotropic design provides a weigh bridge that will give you years of trouble-free weighing even in the harshest environments and toughest applications.
