(Trizedime 250 Injection) Ceftazidime is an antibiotic useful for the treatment of a number of bacterial infections. It is a third-generation cephalosporin, like other third-generation cephalosporins, it has broad-spectrum activity against Gram-positive bacteria and expanded Gram-negative coverage compared to second-generation agents.
Ingredients: Ceftazidime 250 mg

Dosage: As directed by the physician.
Precautions: History of penicillin allergy; severe renal impairment; pregnancy, lactation.
Side Effects: Hypersensitivity, dizziness, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, renal impairment, rash, erythema multiforme, thrombocytopaenia, superinfection, phloebitis and thrombophloebitis at the site of injection.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
Storage Conditions: Parenteral: Store at 15-30°C.
