Uses and properties

• This formulation is mild laxative, calms down vitiated Vaata Dosha, reduces edema, pain and fatty deposition, works as rejuvenator, kills germs, and acts on digestive impairment.
• In Bhagandar (fistula in ano), it reduces the growth of microbes, thereby diminishing the chances of pus formation.
• Reduces edema and pain in anal region thereby facilitating easy bowel evacuation.
• Also useful in Sthaulya (obesity) because of its Lekhan and Medohar property.
