These oil are used as a quenching media for power & distribution electrical apparatus such as transformers, switch gears, capacitors and other allied equipment.
Applications
It is use to insulate and cool transformer coil and to quench electric arcs that form between contacts of switchgears, circuit breakers and rheostats using mineral insulating oil.
