Transformer Evacuation System

Vacuum is drawn in transformer tank with aid of transformer evacuation system to remove moisture and gases from insulationoil. Alternately during commissioning of transformer, nitrogen is evacuated with transformer evacuation system before new oil filling or oil alteration in transformers. Transformer evacuation is a wet process which necessitates proper moisture extraction before its entry into vacuum pump.
NACH has designed transformer evacuation systems that have efficient moisture condensers with adequate cooling area that are placed in line with the vacuum pump. In case of non-availability of cold water circulation at site, condensers are also provided with facility of ice cups which aid to hold ice and improve the moisture condensation.
