Toughened Glass is up to 6 times stronger than normal glass and is ideal for certain types of doors and table tops. We can use Toughened glass for doors, balustrades, flooring and shower enclosures. Toughened Glass is also Safety Glass and has high impact qualities and will disintegrate upon breakage into small harmless pieces thus making it ideal for Shop Fronts and Doors both internal and external. Toughened glass or tempered glass is a type of safety glass that has increased strength and will usually shatter in small, blunt pieces when broken. It is used when strength, thermal resistance and safety are important considerations, e.g. in architectural glass, such as balustrading, canopies, curtainwalling and much more.
