Tielo Universal Tile Adhesive, Width : 0-10cm

TIELO Universal Tile Adhesive is a single component, cementations polymer based tile adhesive material in powder form composed of cement,selected grades of silica sand and special chemical additive, which only needs on site addition of water to make a mortar which is used for fixing tile over any cementation surface. TIELO Tile Adhesive has good bonding and consistency in different climate, and can be used for adhering different kind of tiles, only requires addition of water.

Primary Uses :

TIELO Universal Tile Adhesive mainly use for fixing tile in the following substrates

• Concrete
• Hard natural and reconstituted stone
• Solid rock
• Hollow and solid masonry
• Cementitious plaster and render

Application : All surfaces should be sound, clean and free from any contamination like grease, oil, loose particles etc. before application, the surface and tiles should be pre wetted properly. TIELO Tile Adhesive is to be mixed with water in the ratio of 1: 0.2 to 0.25 parts by weight and stir till a smooth paste is obtained. Allow the paste to stand for 4 to 5 minutes and stir again. Spread the paste on the surface to a uniform thickness of 3 to 4 mm. With a notched trowel to remove any trapped air, place the tiles firmly into position by twisting action. Excess adhesive is to be removed by using damp cloth. Powder should be added to water and not vice versa

Coverage : 8-9 Sq. mtr. per 20 Kg Bag for 2mm mortar thickness. Coverage may vary depending on the trowel notch size, type and size of the tile and the nature of the substrate

Mixing : Mix 1 Kg of TIELO Tile Adhesive with water ranging from 200-250 ml to get a trowel able consistency for fixing tiles. Water can be reduced or increased slightly to achieve desired consistency.
