Thrust Ball Bearing

The thrust bearing is usually a particular kind of rotary bearing. Just like other bearings they allow rotation in between parts, but they're made to support a high axial load while doing this.

Thrust ball bearings, consists of ball bearings supported in a ring, may be used in low thrust applications where there is small radial load.

The thrust ball bearings are designed to work with thrust loads while running at high speeds. These types of bearings could be purchased together with an aligning seat and aligning washer if misalignment or deflection can't be avoided.

Thrust roller bearings consist of small rollers arranged flat with their axes pointing to the axis of the bearing. They offer excellent carrying capacity and they are low-cost, but may wear due to its differences in radial speed and friction is more than with ball bearings.
