It is believed to bring good luck and wealth. A frog with three legs may sound fictitious but no it is not, such frogs do exist although this is a rare species. Mostly it is a female frog with three legs.
For FengShui purposes a statue of a three legged frog seated on a bed of coins or a crystal is available in different sizes.

There is a legend about it: In ancient China a person named Lu’ai met a three legged frog named Chen’su who possessed some divine powers. The frog turned Lu’ai into a real magician. Whenever Lu’ai wished to go somewhere the frog with its powers instantly materialized Lu’ai at that place. The magician always carried the frog on his shoulders.
At times the frog jumped into some nearby well. In order to call back the frog the magician would throw a gold coin into the well and soon the frog came out with that coin in its mouth.
So the three legged frog got associated with wealth and luck.This frog is also known as a ‘Three legged Todd’ or ‘Money Frog’. And a frog with a crown on its head is called king frog.
Outside China this frog is quite popular in India also. It is made of wood, fibre resin or stone. It is to be placed near the main door facing inside the house so that it seems to be entering the house with wealth. One made of stone can be placed in the garden.
But never place Fengshui Frog in a toilet, kitchen or a bedroom.
