Contact SupplierThraex Gladiator Helmet presumably developed from the Phrygian helmet and spread in ancient Greece. It was known as the helmet of the gladiator type Thraex in the roman arenas. This reproduction is made of high quality carbon steel decorated with various brass applications on the characteristic helmet crest and forehead. The face shield is suspended from three small hinges and secured with a rotary shutter. A must buy for the collectors and reenactors.
