Thermoplastic Resin

Plastics are popularly known as synthetic resins. PVC’s most suited acronym is Poly Vinyl Chloride. PVC Resin is a durable and suitable material for the purpose of plastics and rubbers productions. Visually, it is a white powder which is preferred for produce thermoplastics. When we talk about synthetic resins then we must know that there are two different categories of resins which are thermosetting resins and thermoplastic resins. These both categories of resins are different from each other in compounds, applications and usage.
Thermosetting resins:
The thermosetting resins are not capable of melting or re-softening which makes them different from thermoplastic resins. Thermosetting resins include phenolic resin and melamine resin which allows it to stay hard because these materials are thermally hardened. Therefore, they cannot be re-softened.
