Modified Starches

TexoSize Modified Starches is a sizing agent produced from modified starch and other ingredients by chemical synthesis under specific process conditions and parameters.
Application  

• TexoSize Modified Starches is one shot sizing agent to be used for sizing of yarn in the sizing process. It is especially suitable terry towels made from cotton and blends of all counts to be woven on modern high speed shuttle less, rapier and projectile looms.
• Yarn undergoes frictions and tensions during weaving process. Such abrasions are significantly high on modern shuttle-less high speed weaving machine. The efficiency of weaving depends on resistance offered by the yarn against abrasions and tensile strength of yarn.
• TexoSize Modified Starches has appropriate viscosity, hence offers adequate coating of size on the yarn that helps effective suppression of hairiness and smoothness of yarn, resulting in improved resistance against abrasions.
• TexoSize Modified Starches also provides high film strength and high adhesion which results in providing toughness to the yarn helping it to withstand against the jerks and tensions during weaving. The film produced by TexoSize Modified Starches adheres to the fibre strongly to result in minimum droppings at leasing and weaving.
• TexoSize Modified Starches can be easily removed by normal scouring and bleaching process, resulting in much better TEGEWA rating. It also gives much better penetration and levelling in subsequent processes.

Packaging : TexoSize Modified Starches is available in 20/25 kg HDPE bag and 20/25 kg Kraft paper bag. Special packaging is also available on request.
Storage :  TexoSize Modified Starches should be stored in a cool dry place, away from strong light and high temperature. When stored under proper conditions TexoSize Modified Starches will maintain its declared specifications for at least 24 months.
