Pre and Post Commissioning tests include condition assessment of transformer windings to verify the safe transportation of the transformer from factory to work site, assessment of insulation’s dryness prior to commissioning, correct erection and installation bushings and CTs, verification of protection circuits, correct operation of tap-changer and other auxiliaries including Buchholz relay, Pressure Relief Valves, etc.
