fingernail due to dermatophytes
(tinea unguium) (seedosage and
administration and clinical
studies).prior to initiating
treatment, appropriate nail
specimens for laboratory testing
(kohpreparation, fungal culture,
or nail biopsy) should be
obtained to confirm the diagnosis
ofonychomycosis.
