Tara Powder

is a vegetable tanning agent belonging to the piragallol tannin group. It is used as re-tanning of lightweight leathers especially automotive. Tara tb produces full, soft and light colored leather with excellent light and heat fastness properties.

the average analytical composition of tara powder tanning according to the filter method is

the tara tb tanning used in leather chrome re-tannage for shoes and upholstery should be about 5-8% of reduced weight. For re-tanning of chrome-tanning goat and calf skin, it should be about 2-3% of reduced weight. In combination with other vegetable tannins, up 50% of de quantity of each maybe reached for vegetable tanning.in any vegetable tanning, it is used alone or combines with other vegetable tannins.packaging
