The Shital friability test apparatus is designed to study the friability determination of pharmaceutical tablets.A central shaft carries a holding screw, on which the acrylic drum is mounted. The drum is rotated at approx 25 rpm, thus at each turn the tablet slides and falls about 130mm on the wall.The apparatus is suitable for working on 230 volts single phase A.C. 50 cs.
