Macro-fibers are used as a replacement for temperature and shrinkage reinforcement or as structural reinforcement in concrete or shotcrete.Colourant Synthetic macrofibers cannot take extremely high loads, but they work extremely effectively in the early phases of hardening to prevent and/or reduce the size of cracks developing in the concrete.
