The film as the name suggests is used to protect surfaces from scratches during handling, transit or accumulating dust etc. The film is also called Masking Film and is available in two variants: –
PE Adhesive coated masking film is also called PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) coated film. This is a one side adhesive coated film used to mask various surfaces to protect them from scratches during handling or transportation, dust, etc. The film can be peeled off easily and it leaves no mark / residue on the surface once the film is peeled off.
The film is applied on various surfaces such as :-
Plastic Industry – PVC, PP, PC, HIPS, ABS, PMMA (acrylic) sheets and components
Metal Industry – Color Coated steel sheets, Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP), Stainless steel sheets, Aluminum sheets etc.
Glass Industry – Sheet glass, Automotive toughened glass, Mirrors, Television picture tube shells.
Furniture Industry – Decorative laminates, Readymade Furniture.
Automotive Industry – Head and Tail lamp assembly, Body paneling, Windshields.
White Goods Industry – Washing Machine, Refrigerators, Microwave Ovens, Computer and Accessories.
Masking Film Benefits
It offers surface protection against damage from Scratches, Dirt and Moisture during transportation, storage and fabrication of the sheets. It is highly resistant to tears and punctures.
No adhesive residue after peeling off the film.
The film can be applied on the surface using Film Applicator Machine for bulk quantity application.
