Sugandh Kokila Oil

Sugandha kokila oil is also known as ‘Cinnamomum Berry Oil’ because it originates from Cinnamomum cecidodaphne Meisn. Sugandha kokila essential oil is very useful as pain reliever oil. Its antibiotic and antiseptic properties make it fight various kinds of bacterial infections. Sugandha kokila oil massage helps in contraction of blood vessels and thus provides relief from skin irritations, inflammation and swellings etc.
The carminative and stomachic properties of sugandha kokila oil make it very good for the digestive system and for improving diet for many. Sugandha kokila oil also assists in inducing menstruation. It is a wonderful relaxant and is very beneficial in the fight against insomnia and nervous-tension. It is used as a fragrant in many cosmetic and perfume products apart from soaps, detergents and toothpastes etc.
Sugandha kokila oil is extracted through steam distillation process from the dried berry from Cinnamomum cecidodaphne Mcissn plant which is found in western Nepal. Though Sugandha kokila oil is non toxic and non irritant it is not recommended to be used for aromatherapy. The oil is of thick consistency and has yellowish-golden color with spicy camphor like aroma.
