PROTECTIONS:
OVER TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
The light is protected against over temperature. when the junction temperature on the driver chip die rises to 150ºC, the output power and thermal dissipation are also reduced. the driver temperature is regulated and the light reliability is improved.
OUTPUT OVERLOAD / SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
The light is protected against over load & short circuit. During over load & Short circuit the driver will go to hick up mode and resumes to normal operation on removal of fault condition.
OUTPUT OVER VOLTAGE PROTECTION
In case of output load open the driver output will limit the voltage to safe levels and will work normally when the load is connected back. this will not create any hard failures in the driver.
