Setting up a qualified sewage treatment plant is prime requisite for every industry. In recent report by Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), it has been noted that there is a big gap between sewage generation and sewage treatment which leads to severe environmental pollution due to flow of untreated sewage into the rivers. In India, CPCB has setup some guidelines for different industries on how they should treat their wastewater.
