Our liquid enzyme concentrate have overcome the health hazards associated with the use of all earlier powdered forms of enzymes which often caused allergic reactions. All known enzymes are proteins. They are high molecular weight compounds made up principally of chains of amino acids linked together by peptide bonds. They have molecular weights ranging from 10,000 to 2,000,000. Enzymes bind temporarily to one or more of the reactants of the reaction they catalyze. In doings so, they lower the amount of activation energy needed and thus speed up the reaction.
