Description : A medium coated rutile type electrode developed for hard surfacing of steels subject to wear due to impact and abrasion. Very Stable arc and smooth transfer of alloying elements to weld deposit ensures completely crack free and weld metal is machinable. The weld metal is air-hardening type. Recommendations: Use stringer beads technique and avoid high currants. Short arc ensures proper alloy transfer to weld deposit. In case of reconditioning of heavily worm out part give a buffer layer with our PRIMA-7018 Electrode. Weld Metal Hardness : 350-400 BHN.
