Rolling Mills are of major technological significance in modern society. The aims of rolling mills are to reduce the thickness and change the metallurgical properties of a metal strip as it is passed through a pair of driven parallel cylindrical rolls. Rolled sheet metal is an important material in modern manufacturing, rolled products are found everywhere in our daily lives.The plant mainly consists of three mills capable for different sizes. The sequence of three mills namely Roughing mill (3-High Mill Stand 1 number), intermediate (1650 mm, Stand 2 numbers, 1250 mm & Stand 3 numbers) & finishing mill (1000 mm stand 1 number) is capable of producing angles, channels and Girder and flat products of various sizes.
