Description : A basic coated all position electrode designed for use as a buffer layer in welding dissimilar steels and clad steels. The ferritic austenitic weld metal is crack resistant and resistant to oxidation up to 1100ºC. Most suitable electrode for 18/8/Mo steels to mild steels, welding clad side of 18/8/Mo steels. Overly on ferritic steel and building up on turbine runners made of ferritic chromium stainless steels.Applications : Suitable for welding turbine runners made of ferritic chromium stainless steels.
