We are engaged in offering stainless steel rotary gear pumps that are self priming bi-directional, positive displacement rotary pumps. These are made of stainless steel (ss-316) with dry lubricating ptfe coated du bush bearings. Our pumps can be cleaned with ease and is easy to maintain. Furthermore, the back cover of the pump can be easily removed 4-dom nut. The foot mounting of the pump on base plate is facilitated by the angle mounting brackets.
working:
in order to calculate the power requirement at duty point, the duty point pressure is multiplied with unit horse power & no load viscous power is added, which is of appropriate viscosity. This provides safety margin before the ratting of the pri-mover is fixed. Further margin is kept or the manufacturer is consulted for higher viscosity. All sizes of omss pumps are designed to run at 1400 rpm up to viscosity of 500 cst, for small size pump up to 1" can be safety run at 1440 rpm even at higher viscosity up 1000 cst with additional horse power. For sizes above 1" reduce the speed to 960 rpm to viscosity up to 1000 cst. For higher viscous the manufacturer is consulted to avoid cavitation & over loading problem.
