annealing:
we are equipped with electric annealing furnaces of proven quality & adequate capacity. The process is extremely controlled which softens the steel to improve machinability & relieve internal stresses induced during previous operations. (rolling, forging etc)
pre straightning:
the raw material is straightened before being peeled in order to maintain the accuracy of peeling. If the raw material is not found up to the desired standards, it is not allowed to pass to the next stage.
peeling:
in this stage, the straightened raw material passes through the peeling machine and is peeled as per the required size by a cutter made out of tungsten carbide. The rotary motion of the cutter ensures accurate and even peeling of the raw material.
post straightning:
the material is now re-straightened to make it ready for precise centreless grinding.
centreless grinding:
the straightened peeled bars are accurately grounded within tight specified tolerances.
cut to length:
the finished ground bars are cut according to customer’s requirement using horizontal band saw machines.
inspection:
the finished material is checked for size tolerance, straightness, length of bar, mechanical properties, surface defects, out roundness, ndt for surface cracks, & packing standards. For ensuring the quality at every step, well equipped laboratory is in place with ultra-modern equipments. Well-documented procedures ensure correctness in testing and certification of the products.
material handling is done with forklifts, mobile cranes and eot’s that are available for trouble free easy material handling purpose. Precise digital weighing machines are used for weighment.
bright bars made out of stainless steel: bright bars are made from stainless steel grade aisi 420 having following material composition:-
a. carbon , c – 0.16 %
b. manganese , mn – 1.0 %
c. silicon , si – 1.0%
d. chromium , cr – 12 – 14 %
e. sulphur , s – 0.030 %
f. phosphorous , p – 0.030 %
balance is iron (fe)
