The material used is so flexible that even if traffic has to pass over it, there is no damage either to the vehicle or to the lane divider and it quickly restores its original state. It has reflective tapes or reflectors or glass beads which guide the motorist during night time. It comes in two types, one in low height also known as flap delineators or flap lane dividers and the other is in high post form starting from approx. 300 mm to 1100mm height. It is also known as spring post or flexible post delineator.
