Space Heater

Space Heater/ Anti-Condensation tool is a strip shape flexible heater having protective fiber glass sleeve on it. It is mainly used in Electric Motors & Generators. They are necessary to prevent failure of corrosion to Electic Motors by water condensing inside the winding of the motor. Normally these heaters are tied on the overhang winding before impregnation and hence form an integral part of the winding. This achieves maximum heat transfer.

Use of Space Heaters is recommended for:

1. Motors operating in high and very high humidity conditions
2. Electric motors in tropical environments
3. Shipboard and marine equipment
4. Coastal area Motors & Generators
