SonicFlo Gas Fuel Control Valve

Woodwards SonicFlo hydraulically actuated valve controls gas flow to any size industrial or utility gas turbine.
The unique design yields a linear flow versus stroke characteristic that is unaffected by discharge pressure up to a pressure ratio (P2P1) of at least 0.8 for Standard Recovery and at least 0.92 for High Recovery. (Optional flow profiles are available.)
The integral hydraulic actuator is a single-acting, spring-loaded design for failsafe operation. The servovalve is electrically redundant with a triple coil design and dual or triple redundant LVDT’s (linear valve displacement transducers).
Valve sizes are available from 2” to 8,” with multiple flow profiles for each valve size. ANSI Class IV seat leakage is standard, with an optional Class V available. Optional Trip Circuits are available to fit any application.
